minimal home office decor.

Most people nowadays work from home since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. For some, it’s hard to transition back into the office when you are comfortable in your own environment. Within your own workspace, you can customize your own home office decor that fits your personality.

However, being comfortable is not always productive. I wish I could cuddle up in a blanket and work on my living room couch, but that won’t be possible for me. If you can be productive in that kind of environment, then kudos to you.

It’s important to create an environment that will encourage you to stay focused and creative. Choose a space that will limit distractions.

I have been working from home for the past three years. In that time, I learned what works for me and what doesn’t. My home office is constantly evolving, and here are my 15 minimalist home office decor tips for you.

As a minimalist, less is more. These tips will help you utilize your office space to its best potential without having to sacrifice extra space in your home.

1. Neutral Color Palette

Before you decide on your home office decor, consider selecting a neutral color scheme. Choose light, muted colors such as beige, off-white, light browns, blush pinks, dusty blues, and soft grays. These colors will illuminate and open up your office space.

The muted tones accentuate any decorations you place in your office. This allows for simple accessories to stand out and create a minimal and cohesive environment that is visually pleasing and functional.
